Alex Hind (she/he/hers) received her bachelor’s in psychology from Naropa University. Ms. Hind is currently completing her final year of graduate school, pursuing a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Antioch University.

Ms. Hind believes that all people have their own inherent wisdom, and as a counselor, she aims to support clients to embody their truest, most authentic selves. She utilizes trauma-informed, person-centered, IFS, and social justice frameworks to support the whole individual to achieve their desired goals. Ms. Hind’s utilization of a holistic model of counseling integrates the understanding of clients through their individualized and contextualized lived experiences, which consider the multiplicity of client needs. Ms. Hind seeks to meet these needs through client advocacy, empathetic listening, trauma-sensitive mindfulness, and collaboration with clients to create safer spaces. Her clinical interests include complex and developmental trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and adjustment to life transitions.

Ms. Hind was born and raised in Washington, D.C. When she is not in the office, she enjoys exploring Baltimore City with her family, taking walks in city parks on sunny days, reading about attachment theory, and cooking delicious meals.
