Beth McDonald, BA

Clinical Mental Health Intern

Welcome from Beth McDonald, BA

 (she/her/hers)

Beth McDonald (she/her/hers) holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from Wheaton College. Beth brings a lifetime of experience teaching, tutoring, and mentoring children, adolescents, and adults in various settings. She finds joy in providing the space and skills where her students and mentees can explore and express their voices. Beth is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in clinical and mental health counseling at Regent University.

With a collaborative approach, Beth seeks to create a safe environment for clients where they can explore and transform their stories, finding healing and integration. Working from an attachment theory lens, she provides strategic, practical, and holistic support, simultaneously facilitating a deeper journey inward that gets to the core issues. Beth integrates cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques with client-centered therapy. Her clinical interests include interpersonal issues, life transitions, anxiety, and depression, and she enjoys working with couples and individual clients of all ages.

When not in the office, you can find Beth sipping a good cup of coffee with a friend, hiking a trail with her husband, devouring a novel, or simply enjoying time with her family.
