Dr. Erin Richardson, PhD, LCPC

Welcome from Dr. Erin Richardson, PhD

 Dr. Erin J. Richardson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia. After college, she returned to her hometown of Baltimore, Maryland, to work for the Choice Program as an AmeriCorps member, providing counseling and mentoring to youth on probation within the Department of Juvenile Services. Recognizing the desire to continue her education and the need for mental health services in minority communities, Dr. Richardson enrolled in an Integrative Counseling graduate program. She earned both a Master of Science degree in Pastoral Counseling and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from Loyola University Maryland.

 

Dr.  Richardson is a certified Life Coach, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Supervisor, and National Certified Counselor with more than 10 years of experience in providing counseling and therapeutic services to adults, adolescents, children, and families that represent various cultures and ethnicities. She specializes in the integration of mental health and spirituality and focuses on healing the mind, body, and spirit. Her passion for helping others has led to the work of advocacy and bringing awareness to the need for mental health and wellness resources in the African American community as a result of major health disparities.

 

As a Life Coach and Mental Health Consultant, her aim is to help individuals develop their passion, potential, and purpose. She currently serves as the founder of The Rich Life Brand, LLC coaching and consulting firm, a Clinical Faculty member at Coppin State University, and a Field Placement Coordinator and Counseling Psychology Faculty member at the University of Baltimore.
