Meet the BHP Collective
Welcome from Trista Ware, BS (she/her/hers)

Trista Ware is a counseling intern at Behavioral Health Pathways who is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where clients can openly explore their inner world without fear of judgment. She believes every client deserves to feel valued, understood, and truly heard.
Trista is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Systemic Sex Therapy at National University. With nearly a decade of active-
duty military service and experience as a former military spouse, she has firsthand insight into the unique challenges service members and their families face. This background fuels her passion for suicide prevention, reducing stigma around seeking mental health support, and helping couples and families navigate the stressors of military life and beyond.
As an aspiring sex therapist, Trista is especially passionate about supporting clients in discovering and honoring their sexual needs and desires. She believes open conversations about sexuality are not only healthy but essential to developing a fulfilling relationship with both self and others. Her clinical interests include working with individuals and couples experiencing concerns such as sexual desire differences, intimacy struggles, and sexual behaviors that feel
difficult to manage.

At the heart of Trista’s approach is the belief that people already hold many of the answers they are seeking within themselves. Therapy provides a trusted and supportive partnership that helps uncover those answers and guides clients toward growth, healing, and connection.
