Kiara-Breia Hicks-Lyles is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 15 years of experience in behavioral health, spanning outpatient psychiatry, telehealth, mobile crisis response, and inpatient care.

 

A native of Baltimore, Maryland, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and has advanced training in psychiatric evaluation, psychopharmacology, and medication management across the lifespan. Her clinical focus includes child and adolescent psychiatry, LGBTQ+ affirming mental health care, and a developing interest in women’s mental health, particularly perinatal and postpartum psychiatry. Kiara-Breia is also skilled in trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.

 

Dedicated to collaborative, patient-centered care, she works closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes for diverse and underserved populations. She is passionate about empowering patients and families through education, evidence-based treatment, and holistic approaches that support long-term wellness and recovery.

She finds inspiration and balance in her family life with her husband and children, which fuels her dedication to helping

others achieve a peace of mind and improved mental health.
