Shalaiyah Córdoba, LCMFT

Shalaiyah Córdoba is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in providing systemic therapy to individuals, couples, and families seeking to build stronger, more connected relationships. She earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor in Health Promotion from The University of Texas at El Paso, where she was awarded a full Track & Field Scholarship. Shalaiyah is also a Certified Recovery Coach.

Clients often describe Shalaiyah as direct, genuine, and approachable. She creates a safe and supportive space where clients can explore life’s challenges, strengthen communication, and heal emotional wounds. Her work focuses on helping individuals navigate relationship issues, trauma, substance use recovery, anxiety, anger management, sexual concerns, and major life transitions.

Shalaiyah takes a relational and collaborative approach to therapy, meeting clients where they are and helping them move toward greater emotional clarity and balance. She values authenticity, growth, and the courage it takes to seek change.

Currently, Shalaiyah is expanding her professional journey as a Supervisor-in-Training, working toward the designation of Approved Clinical Supervisor. She is passionate about supporting and mentoring emerging therapists as they develop confidence and competence in their clinical work. Shalaiyah is deeply committed to the well-being of both her clients and the next generation of therapists.
