Welcome from Shalaiyah Cordoba, LGMFT
Shalaiyah holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. Prior to her Master’s degree, Shalaiyah earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Minor in Public Health from The University of Texas at El Paso, where she received a full Track & Field Scholarship. Shalaiyah is a Certified Recovery Coach.
As a Licensed Graduate Marriage and Family Therapist,
Shalaiyah’s specialty is working with couples, children, young adults and families. Clients have described Shalaiyah as direct but approachable. She has worked with families who have been impacted by substance use disorder, victims of sexual abuse, individuals who have sexual offenses on their record, work with individuals who need anger management, and works with individuals who have sexual concerns or issues.
While working towards her licensure, Shalaiyah started a Life Coach business called Essential Connections, LLC. Where she provides services such as Life Coaching, Pre-Martial Coaching, Executive Function Coaching, Recovery Coaching, Young Adult Coaching, Parenting/Co-Parenting Coaching, and much more.
